Fabulous competition quality amp

Pros POWER (very under-rated), looks, crossover capabilities, everything that matters in an amp
Cons Size and weight
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  Worthy of the fiercest competition but affordable enough for the casual listener.
This thing is a tank. I believe it weighs around 20 pounds. The first thing I did upon purchasing the amp was remove the cover plate. The American craftsmanship, which is becoming less and less common in car audio, is a thing of beauty. This amp powers a 6.5" component set and does it with flying colors. As the signal level increases, instead of clipping and distorting the sound only gets louder and clearer. The 200.2 is rated for 100x2 at 4 ohms. I would speculate that it is closer to 150x2. For a short time my 200.2 was used to power a pair of 12" subs running 2 ohms mono. The Optidrive was up to the challenge. It never got excessively hot or gave me any problems whatsoever. The 24db/oct. butterworth crossovers are also nothing short of excellent. The one band parametric equalizer gives you precise control of frequency. This amp also has an infinitely variable phase control for each channel. The captive style terminals make a nice finishing touch and allow for a neat install. This is a superb amp.
