I have one of these subs hooked up to an American Legacy amp. To get to the point, this sub will not make you very happy. The peek wattage is 500 but if you run it up that high, you will, without a doubt, blow the sub. The RMS on this thing is probably around 50 watts. Anything past this and the sub will make fluttering noises and will distort. Unless you want the sub box right next to your head, you arn't going hear any significent change in your music experience without blowing this sub.
