Leica Duovid 50 Binocular

Sometimes 7-12X binoculars are not powerful enough to observe water birds especially in wetland, the location of observations are always far away from birds. However, my physical strength is not good enough to carry both 1-10X binocular and 15-45X spotting scope and tripod. Therefore, I chose this 10 15 binocular, find birds and magnify details in one binocular, very convenient. Most zoom binoculars are poor optical quality especially in long end, but don't worry about this 10 15 because Leica is smart to not make it "zoom", it may be the reason why the optical mechanism can remain accurate and make the image very clear even at 15X. Some people may not able to hand hold binocular which have >12X or above because of hand shaking, don't worry, the 10 15 packing has already included stable tripod mount which is free accessory. However, as like other Leica stuffs, it is expensive. Also, heavy in weight, I can't carry it around my neck for half day. Of course, this is already more comfortable than carrying tripod and spotting scope.
