Leupold Wind River Cascades (10x42) Binocular

When Leupold began importing binoculars and putting their name on them, one should have known they would be of superior quality. These mid range priced binoculars have clarity superior to many binoculars I checked out with a much higher price tag. The optics are clear, bright, and sharp, with no fuzziness near the edges. The center focus wheel is sensitive, and easy to move. The binoculars are a couple of ounces heavier than other brands of the same power configuration, and I would prefer the "twist-up" eye cups over the fold down rubber models on this pair (the new models have this feature). However, the pros certainly outweigh the cons, and with Leupold's warranty backing them, I am convinced I made the right purchase!
