Does everything like it says, excellent for the price

A great looking fast printer with more than its share of fatal flaws
The Scanning software defaults are not able to be changed or any profiles added. This means any option but the preset can take 3 levels of menu to set for each and every scan.

Big Brother Buy -so beware
Absolutely will not do ANYTHING without being online except fax via my phone line.
Therefore, I have NEVER used anything except the Fax portion of it, and ONLY kept the machine because I was job hunting when I bought it and the price was the same as returning it for a fax-only machine.

well designed paperweight
this thing is a problem waiting to happen. it works great for the first 30 days (coincidentally, just longer than the warranty period). after which the sheet feeder on the scanner will begin to chew up your papers at will, the scans will come out distorted. and the printing speeds will slow down...
