Linksys - A cool way to connect to the internet!
Introduction:
You know, my Dell laptop has a sub-par internal wireless G card, and it has failed me, connectivity wise, many times. Well, maybe it has something to with the fact that I'm not paying for cable internet, and sneaking onto someone's unsecured router. After all, I have about 8...

Worse than my internal card
Tried it on my laptop and several desks tops. At location with a very weak signal on the laptop internal card, the linksys consistently dropped off and could not reconnect. On the desktops in my office with 100% signal from router, it continuously drops off and has the be unplugged and plugged back... Read full review »
no good
I purchased this product installed it it connects fine works great but.. The speed is no where near what they say. Cisco-Linksys WUSB300N Wireless-N USB Network Adapter
The Wireless-N USB Network Adapter is the simple way to add wireless connectivity to your notebook or desktop computer. Just connect it to your PCs USB port and enjoy incredible high-speed wireless network access, at unheard-of distances distances. The Wireless-N USB Network Adapter uses the very latest wireless networking technology, Wireless-N (draft 802.11n). By overlaying the signals of multiple radios, Wireless-Ns Multiple In, Multiple Out (MIMO) technology multiplies the effective data rate. Unlike ordinary wireless networking technologies that are confused by signal reflections, MIMO actually uses these reflections to increase the range and reduce dead spots in the wireless coverage area. The robust signal travels farther, maintaining wireless connections up to 4 times farther than standard Wireless-G. With Wireless-N, the farther away you are, the more speed advantage you get. It works great with standard Wireless-G and -B equipment, but when both ends of the wireless link are Wireless-N, the throughput can be increased even more by using twice as much radio band, yielding speeds up to 12 times as fast as standard Wireless-G.
