I decided to buy an cordless mouse to avoid the hassle of the cord, and the tangling that usually comes with a standard corded USB mouse. I decided on Logitech, because they make some high quality products, and I decided to go optical to avoid having to clean up the mouse ball periodically.

First of all, the design of the mouse is great! It is very sleek, and fits well in your hand. I prefer it's shape over the higher priced MouseMan series, and much more than the gigantic Microsoft Intellimouse series. The color of the mouse is a plus as well, I like the sleek look of blue on silver.

Installation on my Mac was a snap. No drivers to install, and it worked right out of the box. Plug in the transeiver into a USB port, and add the batteries, and you're ready to go.

As a note, if you have many users using wireless mice in the nearby vacinity, you can occasionally "control" other people's cursors. This is due to similar frequencies being used by the various mice. If this happens I suggest moving your transeiver box farther from the other user, or placing it strategically behind your computer tower away from the other user. This shields your transiever from picking up stray signals from other mice.

If you download the drivers from Logitech, you get more options, such as a battery life indicator, scroll speed, and you can assign additional functions to the Right/Left click buttons, scroll wheel speed, and functions to the scroll wheel button itself.

The battery life is excellent, I have used mine for over 6 months, and have not yet changed the batteries. That is much more than I expected!

Overall, I'm thrilled with this mouse!! The only thing I would like to do is add an additional button on the left, that would be nice for extra functionality.
