All you need to know!

Pros Style, comfort, ease of use, cross platform, range, WIRELESS!, multiple buttons
Cons Battery Life, and Latency (2 things all wireless mice deal with)
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  I would recommend this mouse, its grea comfort and ease of use, alone out-do its cons. Great value!
The Logitech Cordless Optical mouse is overall a great mouse. Some of its advantages would be the fact that, you really don't have to deal with the annoying wire anymore. It's cross-platform for Mac, PC, Unix etc. It also has wonderful distance. Two buttons and scroll wheel makes great universal uses. But its not all good. There is a noticable latency when doing something where you would need speed and accuracy (games), also, the fact is, the batteries do die, and I would think rather quickly at that.

The distance that this mouse allows is great. In the room where the computer is running, there is also a couch about ten feet away. The mouse is wonderful for watching movies on the computer, you can use the DVD case as a little base for it, and you don't have to get up when your done either. Just grab the mouse, and something to roll it on, and your done. But since it optical something as simple as your hand can work to move the cursor around the screen.

The two buttons and scroll wheel/button are great too! I have really come to appreciate these buttons since Expose on the Mac came out. I have bound the center button as the "show all windows" button, and you can easily program to have the other Expose options to other buttons if you want. Its a great conveinance to not have to touch the keyboard, and leave it all in the mouse. This makes for quicker web-surfing, quicker window-to-window moving, and quicker and easier navigating in general.

Like I mentioned previously, wireless is very convenient besides the latency that inevitable comes along with it. While gaming there is a noticable amount of time to your actions on the computer. It's not a calcuable amount of time, as it is a split-second, but you can notice it. This is also noticable in programs like Adobe Photoshop, where you need to only move say, a pixel or two over, and it becomes hard when you move the mouse, but the cursor doesn't. Then you tend to move it a little more, and it jumps eight to ten pixels. For those of you doing hard-core photo-editing, I would not suggest this mouse.

Battery Life is okay. Not good, but certainly not bad. Its just okay. I haven't bothered to take the time to see how long the batteries last, its at least a month. All I know is that they tend to die right when you don't want them too. But over all, I would say the batteries dying is a minute problem.

This mouses comfort is superior. I have very large hands (8.5'' from heel of palm to tip of middle finger) and I still find this mouse very comfortable to use. My little sister (hands substantially smaller) has also commented on its great comfort. Hands won't cramp up while using this mouse. Its great.
