Form without function!

Pros Extra keys, and freedom to type (if you can see the screen from that distance)
Cons Design, Design, Design
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  On design issues alone, I recommend you renounce such thoughts of purchasing this merchandise.
I have to admit that I have no idea how can someone give this product any review above "Below Average".
Okay, it looks cool, and takes away some of the wire clutter you already have on top of your desk, assuming you can even find your desk these days! But, even so, it does not take a brain surgeon to realize that this product lacks on innovation.

This wireless keyboard/mouse combination connects to the USB port. In fact, the reason I am giving this product the lowest of ratings, is that it connects to your USB ports.
The wonders of USB is such that peripherals can connect in a daisy chain format. This product entirely defies such purpose, by having you occupy your 2 precious USB ports with it. Isn't that just an awful design or what?
By this alone, this product should fail. Why couldn't there be just one USB port used? If they are going to occupy both USB ports, then why did they not add some USB ports to the wireless hub?
My thoughts exactly! Poor, poor design. They must have had some kid fresh out of High School design this rudimentary system.

I don't have much to add in terms of good reviews, since this products form is clearly shadowed by it's dysfunction.
It has some extra keys that allows you to control computer shutdown, volume level, blah, blah, blah.
It has the ergonomic look. The mouse feels about right for a normal size hand. A bit heavy since you have to add two AAA batteries to it. Personally, I don't think that is what makes it heavy. The wireless control unit sits near the front of the mouse, making it front heavy. More extra buttons on the mouse that can be programmed to do a few tasks of choice.

I have made my peace. Don't buy this product, in hopes that Logitech will get the idea that you can't hide bad design with a few extra keys and alleged innovations.
Put out good well thought out products, or go back to the drawing board!
