The Bottom Line:

STAY AWAY!

Hey there! Just so you know...I HATE these speakers! There are some out there who love them--I just read another review about this product and I just had to voice my opinion. This product really isn't all that one-sidedly appealing as the other review made it out to be. I'm not a technical whizz so I can't tell you about all the mega hertz and sound frequency mumbo jumbo, but I can listen to music and tell you if it sounds good, and let me tell ya--these speakers are junk!

Why I bought it
I bought the Logitech mm32 Docking Station because I wanted a small, portable docking station that I could jam out to.

What IS good?
Okay--so there are some good aspects of these speakers. I just found that the cons out-weighed the pros considerably! So one pro is that the speakers actually work when you plug them in--that's a plus! They do play music! Also I have the black one and it matches my iPod. But that's all that I found that was somewhat satisfying.

What is NOT good
Mainly I dislike these speakers because they aren't loud at all. The Logitech mm32 speakers play about as loud as basic computer speakers. There is little to no range of bass, and if you turn it up to about 75% volume with a high-bass song the speakers will go flat and staticy.

I also dislike the fact the mm32 docking station does not charge your iPod! Almost every single docking station ever made has the adapter that fits into the bottom of your iPod which allows you to play music, secure your iPod on the dock, and charge your iPod. The Logitech mm32 does none of these! It simply has a male receiver that plugs into the head-phone slot and amplifies the music. I hated this because I had to either plug my iPod into my computer or go BUY a wall charger.

Also this takes 4 AA batteries--supposedly they are supposed to last 10 hours. Maybe if you listen to music on 10% volume it will last that long, but I found mine lasted about half that! It is supposed to be portable--but I never take it anywhere because it will cost a fortune for 5 hours of music!
