M-Audio Mobilepre Would Not Install

Does not work even on fresh install of Windows XP.

I purchased the M-Audio Mobilepre in March of 2007. It came with a driver from 2003. I have been working with computers 10 hours a day, six days a week, for 15 years. I tried to install the shipped driver and the updated driver (2005 vintage from the M-Audio website) five times between two different machines and it would not install properly. Not even close. I could not even try the product.
In my experience, the Mobilepre is junk. I am sending it back to the distributor this weekend.
This product wasted my time and money.
