Pioneer DEH-P6700MP Car CD / MP3 Player

I purchased this unit about a month ago. I purchased it only after I found out that the Sirius Sportster would not easily install into my ION. I was then forced to pick out a head unit that had the Sirius function built into it. I had my choices of many different unit on the stereo wall, one looking as good as another. This unit came highly recommended by the salesmen that I purchased it from so I said why not. I had the unit installed with my Sirius, and the unit sounds great. There are a few complaints that I have with the unit, one being that the unit is cluttered with too many buttons that I will not use or don't use at this time. After looking at a lot of the other units on the wall most the other units had just as many buttons. The second thing that I find bad about this unit is the unit only will display in the bottom 1/4 of the display the song information from Sirius, and will not utilize the full screen. I only can have the artist name come up, or the song name, or the station that I have chosen. And when these names comes up it will scroll through the name in the bottom quarter of the screen. I have no idea why Pioneer would not want to use the full screen or even the bottom 1/2 of the screen which is not being used for anything else. The screen is the organic screen so there is no restrictions of the LCD, that some cheaper units have. The third thing that I am not happy about is that they don't give you a protective case to use when the face unit is removed from the car. By not having one I find the screen scratches real easy. Other then the few problems that I have with the unit I find the unit has great sound, and again many features that I care less about. I mainly got it for the Sirius system.
