Good boom for the buck
Pros
The EQ settings are fun, The amplifier stage is clear and powerful.
Cons
"stepped" Volume knob seems too loud or too quiet. Remote is silly.

I got this CD player to replace a Clarion of fairly similar specifications. I didn't think I would remove the face for convenience over security. But I have found myself removing it. I really like the custom EQ settings as I can tailor the curve to my speakers/car/personal preferences. Good build quality and a VERY straightforward install.
