Quality Sound at a Budget Price!
The Pioneer DEH-P3700MP is a great buy for under $150, made to upgrade your vehicle factory radio. This is an AM/FM/CD player with power and it supports satellite radio with an optional tuner. This is an attractive unit with a multicolor LED display and it has a detachable faceplate for security... Read full review »
Very Nice Unit
What's really nice about this unit is the equalizer. I found myself finding only treble and bass controls on other units in this price range. This Pioneer gives you treble, bass and mid. Each is placed properly in the frequency range. This means that you usually don't have any setting all the way... Read full review »
Buy a JVC KD-G510 instead
Funny that someone else mentioned the JVC KD-G510. I was comparing that unit with this Pioneer. I bought the Pioneer because of their much-touted "Supertuner IIID". I hoped this would allow me to hear distant stations more clearly, since I live in San Diego and listen to several Los Angeles... Read full review »
Good boom for the buck
I got this CD player to replace a Clarion of fairly similar specifications. I didn't think I would remove the face for convenience over security. But I have found myself removing it. I really like the custom EQ settings as I can tailor the curve to my speakers/car/personal preferences. Good build... Read full review »
Excellent sound and value
The factory stereo in my 1999 Acura Integra died and I wanted a replacement that played MP3 files, was compatible with CD-RW discs, sounded good, and had a simple interface. And it had to cost less than $150. I took the advice of the sales associate from the on-line vendor from which I purchased it... Read full review »
Pioneer ain't bad - simple but solid
My last few car radios were kenwood, and I dug the sound quality, but I wanted one with a front slot load, NOT a flip down or auto-flip deck. The last two radios broke from the moving parts. This deck is plain and simple, nothing too fancy.
Sound quality is very solid, I use decent polk...

Great entry level deck
This deck has enough power to make my 6" JL Audio component speakers really sing without having to buy an amplifier.
For the average consumer there are more than enough features to keep you satisfied. If you are building a more elaborate stereo system then this deck also includes cool...

Excellent sound, power, and control.
I bought the Pioneer DEH-P3700MP as a replacement for my DUAL MP3/CD player that was destroyed in a car accident. There is no comparison between the 2 units. This is a far superior product.
Starting with the sound, with good speakers, there is enough power, to pump out good sound for the...

3700 Nice 1st upgrade to stock 92 BMW 10 spkr sys
Pioneer DEH-P3700MP is a nice 1st upgrade to my stock Alpine BMW 10 speaker AM/FM Cassette system. I wanted to get better feint FM reception and got it. I wanted to "fix" the left front section of my broken "5 watt" amp. I soldered the Pioneer harness in and soldered many wires in the trunk to... Read full review »
Some Annoying Features
I bought this unit because I wanted a good but not too expensive head unit that doesn't look like a pin ball game. The controls, looks, and ease of use is good. However, I found out that you have to hold down the ">" button to make it "seek" in radio mode. Pretty annoying if you are trying to find... Read full review »
