Inexpensive, and it shows, but it does work.
Pros
It does work, it does play, its only fair. AAA battery a +
Cons
Poor sound at low volume, and replay is not flexable at all. FM so-so.
Recommended it?
No
The Bottom Line:
If your on a severe budget, its usable. Be prepared to suffer in sound quality at low volumes. Be prepared to listen in the order loaded. It works.
Despite other reviews, the unit I have does work, will hold 8 hours or better of music. AAA battery is a plus, when you kill the power, its sure easy to get started again.
However several things make this player a low budget and low expectations. First the sound. At low volume the unit I have has a annoying background noise. Its at its worst when the display is on. Nothing seems to fix this. And so if you need high volume, its passes as ok. But if you need a low volume setting be prepared to be hearing more than just music. The second thing is a lack of any kind of easy way to play songs in the order you want. You better have loaded the player the way you want to listen to it. I spent less than 40 bucks for this. and its done what I want. I now use this as a 1 gig usb key.
The FM player is about like the rest of the player, pretty spotty, works somewhat. but not a good reciever either.
All in all, if I were to do it again, and I was broke, I would still purchase this. But for more money, you get a MUCH better product.
"you get what you pay for" is exactly what this review is telling you.
