Magellan hits it out of the park......great GPS!!!!!

Pros - One touch
- 3-D with buildings
- Lane assist with realistic highway signs
- POI database
- Display
Cons - Traffic assist requires annual subscription after 3 month trial period.
- Video format
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:

You won't find a better GPS at a better price. Truth be told there's not much more you can look for in a GPS period.

Wow,....... I'm fairly new to the GPS game but I must say that this is one spiffy GPS unit. My friend owns a Garmin nuvi 7xx which is my only experience but this unit is right up there with it. The Garmin does have a few things thet the Magellan 4350 doesn't such as, different icon options, msn(which requires subscription), and free traffic updates. But for the price difference I can deal without those things except maybe free traffic updates. One touch is very convenient once you get it set up the way you want it; you don't need voice recognition now. The 3-D function with buildings and lane assist with realistic highway signs is awsome. I used this unit in the Denver metro area and was amazed, GPS was very accurate and even told me what side of the street my destination was on(the side of the street thing is part of the new software update from Magellan). The bluetooth and fm mod. works great with crisp sound. Only problem I have with the bluetooth is with my Samsung Upstage; it seems like I can pair everyone's phone but my own which is that Upstage(maybe I'm doing something wrong). The multimedia is a cool option but not needed but hey it's on here so I'm using it. Playback of mp3 is a breeze and putting photos on it is also cool especially if you have kids. I did have to reset the unit (hold power button ~10 sec for power off and hold again ~3 sec for power on) because the unit was not reading my SD card, once I did that everything was fine. One thing with the SD card,....do not use a 4gb card as this is not compatible. I haven't played video because it uses AVI Xvid MPEG-4 ISO or something like that which I don't have. Oh yea.... I almost forgot, if you're already a AAA member, you can get an extra year warranty on this unit. The Magellen Maestro Elite 4350 is a home run in my book and if you're looking at it stop looking and buy it, you won't be dissapointed.
