I've owned this since April 2007...maybe it's all the moving I've done since then (3 times) or maybe its the smoke and dust, but I expected this to work longer than 2 years. It's been sometiming our dvds. Sometimes it plays them and sometimes it doesnt but those same dvd work just fine in my laptop... Umm? I was very happy though for the few years it did work well but I really expected a product of this magnatude to last longer :(
