Magnavox MDV460 DVD Player

I picked this unit up at Aldi's for about 25 bucks. Thought I got just a cheap no thrills player, but what I got pleasantly surprised me. It has some very nice features that my $500.00 Panasonic DVD recorder doesn't have. The remote control has quick access to things like subtitle, angle, zoom, and easy chapter finding. Pressing the display button brings up a line at the top of the screen where you can input the time or chapter where you left off and want to restart. This unit has some other nice features such as selecting widescreen, letterbox, or pan & scan. You also have picture control for brightness / contrast and sharpness, and sound control for Dolby Pro
Logic decoder.
As I wanted a backup player for when my high price recorder is in use and for when the occasional DVD had a playback glich. What I found a great player at a very low price.

I had only read one negative review before I bought this unit. That person disliked it because it didn't give the remaining time on the disc. Do any of them?
I think for the cost this is a good backup or even a main DVD player for anyone on a budget.
