The price on this unit is now down to around $135 at WM, which I found to be a very good deal, given the screen size and stated battery life of 3.5 hours. I have just played with it for about 20 minutes, so I can't comment on the extended durability of this player. The video quality is not the best, but it's not awful. Maybe mid-level, I'd say. For the price, I'm happy. It is plenty bright for a lit room, or a darker one. I bought it because I am an international traveller, and wanted one that I knew had a region code hack, so you can watch discs from any country. I am happy to say that the hack worked. Here it is:
