Meade DS-2130 Telescope

I also aquired my ds 2130 for christmas, anxiously I assembled the telescope with ease. (Luckily I have at least 100 aa batteries at home...kids) Waited till night time and carefully read the instructions, first it was missing the lens finder, next, it NEVER would align to Polaris....geez, and even after self aligning the cursed thing, it never co-operated with me! Ok, so i sent it back for maybe the 'Smart Finder' was retarded in mine, so after about 6 weeks, I anxiously put it all back together with ease, even when I took it back out the box, I even aligned the thing to north, then plugged it in,... never would align. Ok, next thing I mention is when I received it back from the manufacturer, I noticed a small dent on the tube....ok, whatever it takes to fix this motherless dog damn thing, I could handle the dent. So now I got a banged up piece of crap, that looks cool when trying to try to align to some imaginary place that cant even find planets, or even our moon Luna. And I also have and imager which is useless without proper alignment, thanks for the sucky memories.
