Poor star tracking & finding, tripod that's not completely stable & rigid

Don't completely swallow the Meade hype ("...LXD55-Series telescopes provide a new level of sophistication and precision..."). After hours of tedious initial setup the result is a scope with poor star tracking and even worse star finding (the highly overrated GO TO Autostar function). A non-motorized equatorial mount scope would be easier to use than this Made in China model.
