Meade ETX 70 a value product
this little made in mexico thingie is QUITE GOOD
because of its price point of about USD 350 or so.
for that, you get,
QUITE decent OPTICS,
COMPUTER POINTING ( yes, it moves towards the star!)
two Eyepieces.
many places now give a free tripod. too.

Amateur Astronomer On The Meade ETX-70AT
This is an outstanding little telescope, considering how little it costs. I've been an amateur astronomer for 30 years, with and without telescopes. I bought my ETX because I wanted a small computerized scope that was cheap. I have many eyepieces from my other telescopes.
