Poor Quality
Pros
Good for looking at the moon.
Cons
Poor quality focus section.

I received this as a gift. The part that moves in/out when focusing had so much free-play that it was impossible to put your eye to the eye-piece without moving it.
Although the various lower power lens focused well, it came with a high power lens that could not be focused. On the high power lens,it would start to come close to focusing then hit the end of focus gear (run out of focus-ability). As a result I could never really see the rings on Saturn.
I modified the telescope to stop the free-play but never modified to fix the lack of focusability on the high power lens.
I gave it to a kid to look at the moon.
I am now looking to buy a better telescope and am a little leery of Meade's quality. I hope my telescope was just an abnormality.
