The Bottom Line:
Do not buy - you get what you pay for
This player is extremely slow. It is incredibly frustrating and has a tendency to freeze up. When that occurs the only choice is to unplug it as the stop, open, and power buttons will not work. One of the few movies I was able to watch was stunning in Blu-Ray as you would expect. One of the first BR discs I used was unplayable without a software update. This brought me to the website that has incomplete instructions hidden deep in the layers of the site. I had to find it elsewhere online. After numerous attempts to make the update work I was unsuccessful. I contacted customer service and they sent me an update disc. This didn't work either. Customer service advised me to call them with my receipt and they would replace it. When I did they told me to scan it and email it. I did and have heard nothing in about a month. My numerous requests for follow up have gone unanswered. Customer Service is very unprofessional and difficult to work with. They frequently disconnect and can't hear you. This has happened every time I have called. On one instance the rep had to yell at everyone else around him to quiet down so he could hear me. There is a language barrier and it is most likely outsourced somewhere.
