I got this as a christmas gift. Right out of the box, I hooked it up using the YPbPr cable (red, green, and blue). The first time I played a movie in it, the picture was blue and pink, and in doublevision. Returned it to the store and got a new one of the same thing. It had the same problem. Tried it on a different TV, AND with different cables, and tried several different DVDs. Still blue and pink. The standard RCA cable works, but standard RCA is terrible picture quality for a 40-inch TV. I ended up going and buying a $50 LG dvd player. Don't waste your 30 bucks on this.
