Memorex MVD2050-BLK DVD Player

We've had this DVD player for three months now and it is working fine. It plays all of our DVDs, even those that are a bit scratched up, CDs, and home-burned DVDs. The picture quality is great on our 42" TV. The player does seem to "freeze up" every once and a while, where it is really slow to respond to opening the DVD tray. It also runs quite loudly. I can hear the DVD spinning during movies. My biggest complaint is that if you stop a movie or leave it paused for too long it shuts off and you have to find your place in the movie again. I wish that it would just stay where it was when it was stopped, like past DVD players I've had.
