The Bottom Line:
I recommend this monitor to anybody that would like to free up lots of desk space, experience better graphics quality, and people that like stylish monitors. :-)
I was looking for an LCD monitor a while back, and studied the entire field of them. I came upon the Envision EN-5100. It out-did most competing LCD monitors and was a lot cheaper too. (I got my price down to 170, .....many rebates....)
The monitor arrived in a small cardboard box with a conveinient little handle on top for this lightweight monitor. I then put the monitor on my desk where my old fashioned CRT monitor used to be and said, "Wow! I actually have desk space now!" This is a very compact monitor and opened up a few square feet of desk space on my desk now!
One feature I like is the Auto-Adjust feature, that takes away that annoying task of having to stretch and move the screen so the picture takes up the entire monitor screen. This feature automatically does that for you, so you don't have any wasted pixels on the top, bottom, or sides. This is a very useful feature.
I then booted up one of my action games and compared the quality to my old CRT monitor. There was a VERY large improvement in video crispness. I almost thought somebody put in a new video card when I wasn't looking!
With my CRT, my eyes would start to hurt after looking at my monitor for extended periods of time. Problem solved with this monitor. Due to the almost non-existent flicker, I can look at this monitor all day without any eye strain.
