The Bottom Line:
Comfortable,smooth,accurate, and built to last.
I hated the little cheapo mouse that came with the pc. Moving it all over the place including off the mouse pad and off the desk was a pain. I went to stores and started shopping for a new mouse. I found a variety of mice. I first tried the trackball type used by the finger tips. It was horrible. My hand was soon aching. Then I spotted the thumb trackballs. The Logitech was'nt bad but the MS one was the one I fell in love with. It is fast, smooth, and accurate. It is so comfortable and effortless. Just rest your hand on it and let your thumb do the surfing. With five customizable buttons to also make my pc life smoother. My mouse is now a couple years old and I have never had a moments trouble with it. Occasionally you need to pop the ball out and clean the receptacle. Dirt and debris build up in little pockets designed to catch such matter. Just take a tooth pick and dig it out - viola, back in business. They are not cheap but worth twice the price in my opinion. Some people do not like trackball mice. Why? I do not know. I could not surf without one now.
