Am I Lazy or What???
Pros
easy to use
Cons
hmmm let me think
Recommended it?
Yes
I was at my sister's house recently and I was using her computer to do a few epinions. Her mouse was really different than mine; she had a mouse with a scroll button on it. I thought, wow this is a great idea...Where I have I been? I didn't know that they had these convenient little mouses, mice (however you say it). It sure made scrolling up and down the page easier.
About a week after my visit with my sister, I admitted to my husband that I wanted a new mouse. The admission was hard to make because nothing was wrong with my mouse, it just didn't have a scroll button.
My husband took me to our local computer store to look at the computer mouses/mice. I was just looking for any mouse with a scroll button and of course one with a good price. I found a mouse that I thought I wanted, it was a cute little blue one (now I am not computer literate and this one had what I wanted and it was pretty). So we looked at it and looked at the price, $ 29.99 not bad! We grabbed our new mouse and headed toward the check stand.
We turned the aisle and there was another mouse. It was the Microsoft IntelliMouse - Optical. Hmmm what made this mouse different? We looked at the box and looked at the mouse. Wow this mouse had better options, but it wasn't blue, hahaha! This IntelliMouse had the qualities that appealed to the lazy person living inside of me....It had my scroll button and more.
The IntelliMouse - Optical has:
The Scroll Button - this enables you to scroll up and down the page by using your finger and moving the button in the middle.
It has two buttons for the Internet - On the left side of the mouse there is a button to go back to the previous Internet page you were on and then on the right side of the mouse the button enables you to go forward. You can also program these buttons to help you navigate through your favorite programs.
The best thing about this mouse it that it DOES NOT have a ball. It has a sensor that tracks the movement of the mouse with an optical sensor. This is great, no balls to clean or wear out; you do not even need a mouse pad. They say that you can use it on any surface, even your pants. I have not given up my mouse pad yet, some habits are hard to break.
So far, I love my new mouse. It was easy to install, Microsoft gives you an installation cd with the mouse. Microsoft also gives you a 5 year warranty on the mouse.
