The Bottom Line:
It's a must have only if you can spare the money and hate tangles and cords,
As many gamers nowadays having everything that is wireless is almost a requirement in any type of gaming community. This product will fall in the same category as the rest. Xbox 360 wireless adapter is a must have, especially for gamers who don't want or have to deal with ethernet cables and extra cords. The product is very reliable with little if any lag. It's easy to install and fits perfect without the product standing out or making the Xbox 360 look messy or bulky. The wireless adapter is a big sell for hardcore and first time Xbox 360 users. The pricing may prevent gamers from actualoy buying it. If at anytime you don't want to spend that much, finding it used at a reliable gamestore like Gamestop or Hastings for only half of what the retail price is currently at. Though this accessory is expensive it will still give you a good quality signal. The size of the adapter in legnth is close to the size of a ipod touch, and wide as a eraser. It's rare that you will find these to become defective, even after using it for 2 to 3 years it will still work as if you were to buy it new. It's also great for when you want to bring it over to a friend's house who doesn't have one. There's also color a indicator to let you know if everything is ok, signal drops, or just not recognizing any near by signals.
However for all good things there are a few things that may want you to steer away from getting this. Aside from the high price point when buying it new, if your looking for trying to find a cheaper brand from third party company, then your out of luck. It suprised me that yheir weren't any 3rd party companies putting effor to try to make a cheaper brand for gamers who can't spare the cash for it. Also note that the wireless adapter is proprietary, any other usb wireless adapter will not recognize it. Even though the product for this is still selling up to this date, the company has yet to release another model that could be less expensive. Basically, if you have the money or just hate dealing with tangles and cords this will be a great buy for the gamer, otherwise it's best to use the etherner cable that was provided with your 360 or just buy one at any electronic store for about $15 to $20.
