It works well, but it still costs too much

Pros It's compact, designed for the XBOX360 and works
Cons It's still too expensive for a proprietary, out-dated  wifi adapter
Recommended it? Yes
The Bottom Line:  If you cannot wire your XBOX360 - this is a very functional and reliable solution that will cost you a pretty penny.
I purchased this adapter in February 2009 for $65, and that was a special sale. Comparable USB wifi adapters could be had for $35 or less.
The XBOX 360 was obviously designed for this adapter, and the adapter was obviously designed for the XBOX 360. When you plug it in, and snap the device in, it works perfectly the first time. No need for software installations or playing around. It detects the hardware and picks up wifi pretty well.
I had my internet running in less than 2 minutes of installing this hardware. I think that is very impressive, because many other wifi adapters installed for computers take much longer to work and tinker with.

Moreover, the antenna picks up faint signals very well allowing the system to be used a good distance from the wifi router. It is also compact and durable so if you want to remove it and install it on a friends xbox, its no trouble at all.

The downside is that a version has not been built yet to support the WiFi N standard, YET, this is the only way you get reliably run the XBOX media center feature without lag or delay.

It seems that this adapter should have been a core function of the system, but it was left out for profit reasons.

It should be noted that the XBOX 360 can be made to work wirelessly without this adapter, but the process is not easy or cheap (use the Linksys WGA54G Wireless-G Gaming Adapter to save a few dollars)

At the very least however, if you pay for it, it works. The premium is the convenience.
