Good everyday speakers

The Bottom Line:
They're ok everyday use speakers with pretty good sound, but any audiofile would want much better speakers.
I bought these speakers because they were pretty cheap. I think I paid about $10 or $15.
I've been pretty happy with them. There is a power control, volume control, and a headset plugin on the right speaker so you don't have to reach very far to make adjustments. They are pretty loud also. I've never had to turn the sound all the way up.
What I don't like about them is that the cables are too short. The left speaker plugs into the right speaker which then plugs into my computer. Because I have my computer set on the floor to my left, I had to reverse the left and right speakers and the cable is straining a bit to reach my desk. I wish the cord was just a bit longer.
