GXT 400 Performed well
Pros
Clarity of the transmission, distance covered. Reasonable power usage.

Had a tendency to pop off my built when I set down.

Yes
I used my GXT 400 pair for the first time while on vacation in November. On board the cruise ship they performed remarkably well. On shore in the Caribbean they had a range of about 3 to 3.5 miles. Much further than that the signal started to degrade. Power usage was fine, used them all day with no signal loss. Clarity of the transmission is a big plus. I bought two more when I got back. Remember when using GMRS you must have a Federal License.
