Great for SAME weather alerts.
I've owned my Midland WR-300 for three months. I wanted only one thing of it: to get NOAA SAME alerts. The 300 does this flawlessly. All other capabilities that it has are just extras. A Geographical Must.
Being in tornado alley, any weather radio is an absolute MUST.
We had an older midland radio, and that thing drove me nuts. I do not want to be told of watches/advisories at 3am. Please just let me know if there's a tornado warning!
