Great for SAME weather alerts.
I've owned my Midland WR-300 for three months. I wanted only one thing of it: to get NOAA SAME alerts. The 300 does this flawlessly. All other capabilities that it has are just extras. There is no other function that it can perform, including basic reception of NOAA Radio channels, that I can't do... Read full review »
A Geographical Must.
Being in tornado alley, any weather radio is an absolute MUST.
We had an older midland radio, and that thing drove me nuts. I do not want to be told of watches/advisories at 3am. Please just let me know if there's a tornado warning!
