High Quality at a Reasonable Price

Quality VCR
I searched far and wide for a quality VCR that had some specific in/outputs, did Super VHS and S-ET recording. The HS-U776 fit the bill. It's a new model from Mitsubishi. Indeed, it is a hard VCR to find, as only a handful of places sell this beauty. I eventually found it on sale for $200.

Good solid VCR
I bought this VCR a couple of weeks ago to replace my 5 year old Sony. I haven't made use of the S-VHS features, but have found that it records a pretty nice picture on regular VHS tapes. I record tons of stuff during the week and soaps every day. So far the thing hasn't displayed any glitches... Read full review »
