The Bottom Line:
Mitsubishi's has known failures and refuses to issue recalls. I do not recommend Mitsubishi TV's to anyone.
I own a Mitsubishi television and have had nothing but problems, from day one, with the BLINKING GREEN LIGHT OF DEATH. This is a known problem to Mitsubishi but they will not issue recalls or offer repair. This has affected thousands of sets and this issue, known to them, has been going on for years. Do a Google or Yahoo search for Mitsubishi blinking green light to see for yourself. I have called their customer service line many times to no avail, which by the way is not in the United States. Their customer service department is in a foreign country. It's hard to understand their representatives as they speak in broken English. I have requested on numerous occasions to speak to someone in the USA. I have even had my spouse try to call Mitsubishi to get a Supervisor or American on the phone. The customer call center refuses to let us speak to anyone else. I've tried calling Mitsubishi's Corporate offices in California but have not had any luck in getting anyone to listen to my problem or return my phone calls. I would not recommend a Mitsubishi television to anyone. The only solution the customer service department gave me was to unplug my set for 24 hours and then plug it back in. In my opinion, that is their way of getting you off the phone. But, I did try this, just in case, and of course it did not work. Mitsubishi is selling television sets that will fail and they could care less. On a positive note, I bought a Samsung and it's beautiful. The picture is so bright and vivid. It's everything that a TV should be for the money.
