I have owned this TV for 3 years now and I Have only had to replace the bulb once and I think that was damaged moving the TV. Fan noise is only noticeable after you shut the set down. The fan runs for a couple of minuets to cool the bulb down. Picture is sharp from any angle and I love the quality of high definition.
