Awesome TV
Had this set for almost 2 years. Got DirecTV with the HD DVR. Looks excellent especially in 1080i and 720p. The fan is a bit loud but this TV is not meant to be watched from 10 inches away. I don't think that the fan noise is noticeable, the TV is about 8 feet away from the couch. Read full review »

Great Picture! But too much new technologies
very good picture quality. But, too much new technologies. Within the first week, the TV has two black dots on the screen. the dots are about 1/8 inch square. Mitsubishi says the mirrors are stuck. Great - best pic seen after weeks of research
Picture for digital broadcast beyond belief. Compared to Samsung 6300 series the Mitsi blows it away.
Best Buy sold me on picture when they popped of the anti-glare screen - in fact they have left it off to this day. With it off it blows every other set that they carry away.

Great picture but not without its problems
No tv technology is without its problems, but this one is especially annoying. This tv is great for watching sports but if you watch a movie with a lot of dark scenes in a dimly lit room you will be annoyed by a bright white "hotspot" in the center/bottom portion of the screen.

Great picture and easy HD setup with this mitsubishi model.
Very disappointed with how loud the cooling fan is, and I am returning this product. Because the fan noise is driving me crazy.
