We did tons of research. My husband has 2 electrical degrees and was very thorough in his research. The 65732 model (purchased 3/2007) was the middle one in this series. The diamond was the next step up, but the screen causes too much glare. The model lower only had 3 color wheel. The 65732 (we bought) has 6 color wheel and no shiny screen! Love the vibrant colors. It is 8/4/09 and our lamp has just gone out for the 1st time. I've called Frys as we
bought the 3 yr. extended warranty. They had our info in their system. I just needed to verify info including serial #. They'll give info to 3rd party to replace bulb. Mitsubishi is on the East coast. They'll ship bulb (to 3rd party or anyone) same day if ordered by 2 pm East Coast. WE, too, had the heat sensor replaced in home.
