Excellent purchase!
Pros
Superb picture quality, 64-point convergence screen, 3 component inputs, makes DVDs and HDTV look amazing
Cons
none (except perhaps the viewing angle)
Recommended it?
Yes
I purchased this television about three months ago from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Omaha. When it arrived I immediately hooked it up to a Sony progressive scan DVD player using a HDTV Monster Cable component setup, and let me tell you, the color and picture quality was outstanding. HDTV looks even better. And the convergence screen is very helpful to perfectly align the red and blue on the screen, so you can get a crystal clear image all the time.
It took quite some time for me to choose this television, but I'm glad I did. It offers amazing quality at an even more remarkable price. Worth every penny.
It comes with a removable Diamond Shield that protects the screen, and it seems to be very durable.
It is great for DVDs and home theatre, but just watching television is now a more enjoyable experience. It features a dual-tuner so you can watch two shows at once, either side-by-side or one within another.
The sound is pretty decent, considering they are just TV speakers. But hook this baby up to a 5.1 surround sound and you'll be blown away.
Overall, highly recommended.
