Yes
I never thought Finding Nemo could look so good. Installed the TV last night and it was worth the pain of moving it up a flight of stairs to see a picture that great right out of the box. My wife even likes it and she thought I was crazy for spending $1450 on a TV. As for the size, the TV almost looks small in a big open space like best buy. I was worried that I made the wrong decision by not going with a 50 inch TV. But in the living room (with my main viewing area 12 feet from the TV) it looks enormous. Another inch of TV would have been too much.
As for the picture quality I don't have a progressive scan DVD but the picture still looks great using an S-video cable. I will be moving up to components cables shorty. When watching regular digital satellite the picture looks somewhat stretched but there are 6 different modes to choose from. So far I have no complaints and would recommend the TV to anyone.
