My TV is also a little over three years old. It often has the blinking green light and takes awhile to come back on.
I am also waiting for my third service visit in the last two years to fix the problem of losing the picture and the screen going black. I can turn it off and on and the picture immediately returns. But, this is very aggravating for a TV that is three years old.
