This is a TV for the future. Its 16:9 screen ratio is fabulous.Every feature imaginable exists on this TV. I find the picture to be as good as it gets. The only annoyance is when watching a standard 4:3 analog picture Mitsubishi recommends that you zoom the picture to fill the screen. If you don't do this you run the risk of burning a permanent ghost image. When viewing a standard picture it is displayed with bars on each side of the picture until you expand the picture or zoom it to fill the screen.
That's why I say it's a TV for the future. High Def broadcast will automatically fill the screen.
If you're willing to wait for more high def broadcast I don't think that there is a better selection.
One more thing,watching DVD's on this TV is a new experience. I find myself watching movies all over again with a new appreciation.
