It's made by a car company, and it's TERRIBLE.

Pros The TV Quality is good
Cons Screen Size is smaller then advertised, instructions are terrible, very expensive.
Recommended it? No
The Bottom Line:  Dont Buy this car, there is much better out there
I bought this product for my business so I could give employees a chance to catch up on the morning news while drinking coffee before going to work. Before I had bought any TV I looked into the current market. I am not new to buying large screen TV's because I have a Sony 60" HDTV in my house. I was looking for something cheap but yet large enough for an entire room to see.

I looked into Magnavox's who had a cheap television, but not good quality. I saw a few Toshibas, but nothing really cut it until I saw the Mitsubishi HDTV. At one look, the price tag astonished me, I was then under the influence of that television the rest of the day because I was thinking "If it's that expensive, it must be worth something.." Well I bought it, and let me tell you, I was wrong.

I bought the television off of the business account and placed the TV into the lounge. That's when the trouble started, I tried hooking up the television, but Mitsubishi had very tough to follow instructions. I ended up calling a service man to help me install it, and that cost me in addition to the TV. Then, I looked at the remote, that thing is BIG. It has one million functions and the instructions don't give you a clue as how to work it. Maybe it's because Mitsubishi is a car company..

One of the features that leaded me to buying the TV was a upgradeable screen size, sure it's DOable, but you need to be a electrician in doing it, plus you must be rich as it cost's loads of money. The quality of the screen size now is great, but there is a 5 inch black border around the screen, giving you 5-inches less then what the 60" prescribed.

All in all MrClean's suggestion would be to stick to the Sony HDTV which I have not had a problem with, you could even buy a Sony or Magnavox 55" Big Screen, both are easier to manipulate, cheaper, and is perfect for today's market.
