Love it!

Cons No built-in HDTV tuner

Just bought this at SoundAdvice in Orlando FL for $3600. Setup was a snap. It allows you to program your input devices so you can label them (i.e VCR, Cable, etc) and turn off inputs that you don't use. The 64-point convergence seems to create a REALLY nice picture. The line-doubling makes even standard cable look pretty good. I hooked up a friend's DVD player to the component inputs (3-wire 480i -- not progressive scan) and noted only a slight improvement from S-Video. Would expect a progressive scan DVD to do much better on the component input. Noticeable difference from the composite input though (color and resolution was MUCH better on S-Video and Component). Don't have an HDTV source yet but am looking forward to 1080i. The Pioneer platinum series has a better picture but costs about $2000 more. My wife and I can't believe how we lived with a 27" TV before!!
