Buy this tv only if you want to have the Mitsubishi quality and dependability to last you may years, and with Mit's upgradabilty promise you can't go wrong
I went out looking for a new television to go in my living room, not really knowing what i was looking for or much about the topic of tv's. After doing months of research on this topic with online resources and my conversations with sales people state-wide. I found that the two television brands that stood out from all of the rest was Hitachi and Mitsubishi. After comparing the two different models of the widescreen 16:9 ratio i was most impressed with the Mitsubishi WS-55809's warranty and picture. I also have a progressive scan Zenith DVD player and with this player i get an awesome picture in 480p format. I would recomend this tv to anyone who is looking for a widescreen big screen tv. I am very pleased with my purchace.
