The Bottom Line:
Picture of the elite Diamond Series without the sticker shock.
After much comparison, I purchased the WS-55819. I am very happy with my selection. The two CONS listed above are my only gripes and let me explain them. The remote is programmable, however it did not have the correct code to control my Marantz receiver or my Wal-Mart VCR (Sanyo). The Diamond model has a low glare screen protector which would also have been nice on this model. Easily correctable with proper room lighting placement. Overall very nice television which makes my viewing room nicer than alot of the movie theaters. Very easy to hook up DVD, VCR, Cable, Satellite, etc.
