I have owned this TV since 2003. This weekend I gave it to my parents since I was making an "upgrade" to a WD-65734 DLP. Boy was I wrong... everything looks pixelated, jagged, undefined, and lifeless on the new 65734 and there's NO comparison with picture quality between these two models. Even higher priced 834 series DLP's couldn't hold a match to the 65813's quality, even though the 813 is an older set. It is obvious that Mitsubishi has taken a step backwards in regards to quality when making their newer DLP's. I'm not so sure I want to keep this 65734 now after being spoiled with the 65813's lifelike picture. Although it is only 15.4" deep (compared to the 65813's 28.25" depth), I've come to realize that nothing new these days can truly compete with a rear projection CRT like the 65813. The wheel can't be reinvented here. Nothing will beat the quality of the 65813 still.
