Mitsubishi WT-42311 42 in. TV

I AB tested this in the store against plasma and LCD and found the picture to be comparable. With the cable hi-def tuner, the picture is spectacular. However, I had to have in-house service to repair one of the composite outlets (I have every piece of equipment one could image plugged into the device). Then after 2-1/2 years despite using the zoom and stretch settings diligently, the cathode ray guns burned and left two brownish borders in the pic. I had the insurance and forcefully complained that this was way too soon for the guns to burn out. They finally picked it up after four months of calls and threats of an attorney. It now works as good as new so we will get likely 5-8 years out of the set, about what one would expect.
