I just bought this last week and will update my review when I get my HDTV cable hooked up.
Base Comments:
The base for this model is a little small when it comes to storage. You CANNOT put any two audio units side-by-side because the base angles to the rear and nothing will fit... you have to stack on top of each other.
I have a receiver and a CD player and they fill up the space leaving no room for a 3rd unit (like a cable TV box). So, I'm going to have to buy an audio tower of some kind so I can have a CD, receiver, VCR and a cable box connected all together.
I bought the base and TV for $1100. I know it's an older model. I figure that when the prices drop on DLP's or LCD's, I can put this one in another room and upgrade then. It's better than my current 31" TV that's 10 years old!
